Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I...?
See how to ask and respond to questions, search, and more in our 2 minute tour video. If you need help, check out our help page. If you're not finding what you're looking for, you can email us.

Why do I keep getting a message about javascript?
Wellharbor.com relies on javascript for certain functionality. You'll need to have it enabled to ask questions, reply to questions, and view some trending topics. You will be able to read and search for questions without javascript enabled. Click here if you need help turning on javascript.

Should I ask a question here or talk to my doctor?
You should always talk to your doctor first. Wellharbor.com is not a substitute for a physician's visit, and by using the site you agree to our privacy policy and terms of use. Answers here are not provided by medical professionals.

How can I return to a question I asked?
Because Wellharbor does not require any registration to participate, you will not be able to sign into an account and return to questions you asked. When you ask a question you can bookmark the page, or you can search for your question later.

What happens when I report a question?
Reporting a question alerts us to review it. This can occur within a few minutes, but it might take several hours. Most reported questions are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. Content that's reported by many unique users will be reviewed first. There is no reason to report a single listing more than once, as it doesn't change the priority.

Why is this question invalid?
If you receive a message that a question is invalid it's because the question number in the URL is not valid or the question has been removed. Sometimes this can happen right after you read a question, or even while you're reading. Content is generally removed when it's reported to be offensive, spammy, etc.

Who is responsible for the content on Wellharbor?
All questions, replies, trending talks, and searchable data is user-generated. As such, Wellharbor.com only provides this website as a service to connect users with medical questions and information. The information on this site is not reviewed by medical professionals, and by using Wellharbor.com you agree not to hold Wellharbor.com or its creators liable for the content posted by users. If you'd like to report abuse, please let us know.
